We're back! After moving server hosts to OVH, we're now all set up and ready on the web front. Hopefully this will mean that we can host some sort of scoresystem and possibly an API for it.
Once we have fully set up the remainder of the website, the real hard work will begin. Writing. We need to have a fully fleshed out storyline as well as a complete plotline and at least 50% of the sketches done for the different scenes.
Now. Admittedly, we are going to be completely restarting all progress on Werewolf Island. We want to have our development focused properly and done right. We will be creating lots of documentation throughout this process. We will be working greatly with Atlassian's Confluence to aid in this. We will also be looking into hosting this publicly for the public to watch our progress, but this is undecided.
Lastly, we will be investigating using Unreal Engine 4 vs. CryEngine 5 for Werewolf Island. We're greatly interested in the Unreal Engine documentation and the sheer amount of it, while being equally impressed at the environment assets and detail level of CryEngine 5. Both support Virtual Reality, which is a huge bonus, as we plan to support the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive.
